Bidding is strictly by Bidder Number.
To obtain a Bidder Number, registration is required and this can be completed at our office on the day of the sale. Contact details will be required along with photographic ID.
Your Bidder Number should be kept safe and can be used at all Pollock Auctions.
Online bidding is available by way of commission bidding. This enables anyone that is unable to attend the auction in person to view lots and place their bid online prior to auction commencement.

All items must be paid for in full prior to Collection. We accept payment by cash or card. Cheques or a Sterling Banker's Draft may be used, however these options require pre-autorisation by the Auctioneer prior to the sale.
All items must be collected within the time specified after the auction or by alternative arrangement for exceptional circumstances.
Any items not collected within the period specified may attract a storage charge or be subject to dispersal at the Auctioneer's discretion.
Dedicated loading facilities are provided free of charge.
Pollock Auctions can arrange transport to meet your requirements via our haulage partners. Please contact us for further information.
All of our auctions are conducted strictly in accordance with our Conditions of Sale which are available upon request.
Unless stated by the Auctioneer when selling the item, it should be assumed that items are 'Sold as Seen'.
This means that it is the responsibility of the Buyer to satisfy themselves of the item's condition and that it is fit for use.
In the case of some tractors, cars and commercial vehicles, the item may be offered with a 'Test Drive' which allows the Buyer to test the item, along with the seller and within the confines of our Auction Site, for up to 1 hour following the sale of the item. The Auctioneer will state when selling the item if it is offered with a 'Test Drive'.
Occasionally the Auctioneer may sell an item 'Provisionally'. This means that the item's Reserve was not achieved, however the provisional bid will be logged and the Seller contacted to see if they will accept the provisional bid. If you have made a provisional bid you should contact the office following the auction and they will advise on whether it has been accepted or not.
In addition to the Auction Hammer Price, Buyer's Commission will be added to the invoice total. The Buyer's commission can vary depending on the Auction and item type. Refer to the Auctioneer on the day of the sale for more information. You should also note that the Buyer's Commission is subject to VAT.
All of our Auctions are conducted in GBP.
Payment can be made in either GBP or Euro. For Euro payments the GBP Invoice Total will be converted using the exchange rate stated by the Auctioneer on the day of the Auction.
Following payment of the item in full, you will need to collect your item by 6pm on the day of the Auction or between 2pm and 3pm the following day.
Loading facilities will be provided during this time.
If required we can arrange Transport on your behalf through one of our haulage partners.
Pollock Auctions do not offer Finance services directly, however we can put you in contact with independent companies who provide this service.
It is important that any finance arrangements are fully in place prior to purchasing any items as failure to obtain finance does not remove the Buyer's obligation to pay for the items. Payment must be received from the Finance Company before items can be collected.
